There were a few things about school that really bugged Angel. Her roommate Olivia. Such a foul bitch. Having to work around an annoying schedule. She didn't mind getting up, or going to class. It was the breaks between that annoyed her. And lastly...Being the oldest in her year.
Yes. It was entirely her fault. She'd been the one to run off for four years and let herself get older. Had she just gone to school she'd be done by now. And She'd have been the same age as most of her classmates. Not all of them were younger. But a good amount were.
But whatever, right? She was at school for a reason. So who cares what the classmates were like. As long as she graduated she'd get her money. Then it was easy living. So whatever.
Class was about to start, a minute or so off. And Angel was in her seat, in her Defense class. Facing the other way though. Watching the kid who sat behind her, a metamorphmagus it seemed, was busy entertaining whomever would look by changing subtle facial features. His eyes right now. It was entertaining, really. Nothing too big, so whomever wasn't paying attention probably wouldn't notice. At the moment he had his eyes at the oddest shade of green she'd seen on a person. She couldn't help but chuckle a little. He looked a little christmasy.

Emma didn't really know Angel all that well. Not personally at least. Of course she recognized her, how could she not? But she wasn't really sure she had ever actually talked to her before. Angel was already known in their grade. Yes, they had people of all ages, it was college after all, but people generally stayed in the same general age. Angel was older than them. She didn't know why but she'd heard some rumors. Sorry, probably a lot of them because of the way she looked.
As for the metamorphmagus? That was Lucan. How could she not know him? She sat next to him in class.
Wandering up to her desk in the back, fairly covered by her usual patchy coat, Emma didn't really notice much of anyone in the class. Some of them were watching Lucan, though, which she really did have to comment on. She dropped her back, sitting on her desk facing him.
"You know, I think they make something for that."

She couldn't really help what people thought of her. Rumors would happen no matter what. They always did. But she promises she can dispell atleast 90% of them. The ones about her sleeping around. That she was a strippe--well. No. She wasn't a stripper before coming to the school. That's different.
And the one about her boobs being fake...Well they could just leave that a rumor. Unless they felt like asking her. She was proud of hers boobs. They turned out good.
And she was fond of her looks, so everyone could go screw. And she didn't outrightly hit on Professor Darcy in public. She wasn't that dense. That could just be another rumor.
Lucan:
Green? Ha. No. How about light blue. Extremely light blue. Like almost white light blue. Very --
Hey! It's emma. He grinned.
"Make something for what now?"

She hadn't heard the one about Professor Darci. Not yet at least. It was probably coming.
Emma chuckled at Lucan and his antics, taking her coat off to reveal yet another earthy jean and tank top ensemble.
"That face problem you have."

Well she tried to keep it on the down low. You know, since she was in his classes and all. She planned on getting good grades and she didn't need any idiots thinking it was because she bribed him or something.
She chuckled at Emma's words.
"Yeah. It's called plastic surgery."
Lucan:
Tch. A blink and his eyes were almost black. Was he checking her out? Why yes, yes he was.
"I don't even get that, but who would want to stop this? Huh?"

Well he should stop that. He was lucky, though, Angel spoke up and distracted her. So she looked away when he he decided to be a pervert.
"Is that a muggle thing??"

Another chuckle. Really? Did she used to be like them? Not knowing simple things every muggle knew. It was a weird thought. After living with Muggles for four years she'd gotten quite used to all the things the wizarding community didn't even know about. But why would they? They had magick.
"Yeah. It's like...They have doctors called 'plastic surgeons' who cut you open and change what you look like. Tons of girls get their noses changed and stuff. But they can't do eye color."
Lucan:
He was not being a pervert. He was being a guy. Same thing, he's sure. Angel talked, and he continued to check Emma out for a bit before finally looking over.
"Sounds gross."

And Emma continued to be oblivious to the checking out. Maybe she should have kept an eye on him a little better. If she thought he was doing anything like that at least.
She couldn't help but frown a bit.
"That sounds really unnatural."

Angel shrugged.
"No more unnatural than anyone who isn't a metamorph changing their hair color or whatever."
She really had no problems with it, obviously.
Lucan:
"Don't have that problem."
And just to prove it he made his start to darken slowly. Humming a slight tune during it's progress.

She made another bit of a face, still not sure what she thought of it. She shrugged.
"Maybe.."
And glanced over at Lucan. She smiled a little, watching him. It really was very interesting.

"It's not that awful. Really."
Take her word on it.
Lucan:
The darker his hair got the darker the song sounded. Apparently in Lucan's world dark haired people deserved evil, epic sounding music.

Emma glanced over at Angel before her eyes found their way back to Lucan. She couldn't help but raise an eyebrow a bit at his newest idea.

She just watched the weird boy do his thing. He looked cute. Damn him and his genetics.
Lucan:
And about twenty seconds later his hair was black, to an equally dark fitting death theme. What could he say? It matched his eyes.

He did look cute, but he wasn't going to get her to say that out loud, mostly because she didn't think it was really that big of a deal.
"Creepy."
That was all. Professor Darci just walked into the room and dropped a pile of papers onto his desk that, by the sheer force of it was enough to let them all know they were important. Probably their essays from last week.
Professor Darci: "Miss Gairden."
Emma: She blinked, staring up at him. What was he getting at?
Professor Darci: He frowned. The desk. That was what he was getting at. He didn't appreciate students sitting on their desks.

She chuckled a bit more before jumping a bit. The sound startled her. Way to look awesome in a defense class. Not prepared for the dropping of papers.
A second later and she turned around, facing the front. Pretending she didn't jump. But she did glance back at Emma when he said her name.
And her essay was awesome. Screw.
Lucan:
Tch.
"Creepy? Why is it cr--"
That was a loud annoying sound. It made him look up though. Oh look. Professor Darci. How fun. That meant class got to start. Ugh. Atleast he looked as dark about it as he felt. And way to start the day as a jerk. Okay, so he was making a bit of a face. Don't pick on Emma.
