September 14th - Sunday
Rini still could not believe what she just did. She had told that boy that she didn't even know that she would go tell his teachers he was going to be absent. She told him! She talked to him! She could still feel the blush all over her face. She had to do it, though. It seemed wrong to let him walk around looking like that. He needed to lay down and she felt bad letting him do it. He just looked so in pain...
Was this it? Arithmancy. Professor... Gaikotsu? Strange name. She knocked and peeked her head in.
"Um... excuse me?"
If anyone at all heard her it would be an amazing feat in itself.

Aquilina was busy scribbling down notes. Legs kicked up on her desk, stiletto boots resting on piles of papers, notebook resting on her legs. She muttered to herself as she wrote.
"Four...eight...twelve...that makes three..."
There were a few reference books on the desk as well, though she hadn't touched them in weeks. She knew her subject better than anything. She loved her subject.
"So thats four and sev- - what?"
She looked up, accidentally marking up the page. It surprised her. Something she was not used to. She didn't know the girl standing there.
"Yes, can I help you?"

The woman jumped and it made Rini jump. She quickly looked down, fidgeting uncomfortably. She was surprised to see that she was Japanese like her, though she assumed she hadn't lived in Hawaii like her.
"A-are you... Professor Gaikotsu?"

"I am." Japanese, yes. Hawaiin, no. Aquilina had a british accent, mostly. It had a hint of a russian accent, with slight japanese intonations. She couldn't help it. She'd been back and forth between the three so much in her life they just melded togethor.
She sat straight, bringing her legs off the table.
"What can I help you with?"

Rini's accent was British. Both of her parents were Japanese but her mother was born in England, her father in Japan. They only lived in Hawaii until she was ten and never in Japan so her intonations were Hawaiian.
She didn't look up.
"Is Jonas den Adel one of your students..?"

"den Adel?" She paused momentarily, running through the students in her head. Right. The quiet boy. She nodded. "He is."

Good. This was her last stop.
"Um..."
She fidgeted a bit more, tugging at and fiddling with her sleeves.
"He's not going to be in class for a few days. He's sick."

"Wait. den Adel...." Oh! Right! "I know."
She nodded, crossing her legs.

She blinked and actually looked up.
"He told you..? But.. he said..."

"He didn't tell me. But I knew." She shrugged.

She was obviously confused.

"Arithmancy, darling." She laughed a little.

Another blink and her eyes widened. She knew that. She knew exactly what Arithmancy was, though she wasn't taking it, and now she felt really, really stupid. She almost covered her face but instead looked down as quickly as she could.
"I'm sorry! I-I knew that. I shouldn't have come..!"
And she meant it. She fully intended on finally getting to flee today. She was even going to give it a shot.

"Wait." Aquilina luckily got it out before the girl ran. She found her intrigueing.

Rini stopped halfway out the door, back to the room.
Run.
Run, Rini.
...
It was the second time today she didn't flee when her head told her to. She turned around.
