"Reesa? I like it. It's cute. Fits you." She smiled, then thanked her for the other cookie. She was dying to try it. It looked good, it smelled good. It HAD to taste good. But she was going to wait. Sip at her cocoa and wait.

"I think that Denny suits you quite well, also," Reesa said as she sipped her cocoa. "It's pretty and it's unique. Quite charming. Sounds like a cookie-lover." She smiled a bright smile.

"Denny is a lot more interesting than Denise." She nodded, with a bit of a laugh. "And I can't help it. Cookies are one of the most amazing inventions since...Oh, I don't know. The mouth."

"Is that an invention?" Ressa asked with a tiny giggle. She took a drink of cocoa and then she bit into the cookie. It was perfect. She loved it. She couldn't help but smile.

"Someone had to make it." She waved it off, smiling. Hm...Alright, temptation was too much. She had to eat the cookie. She took a bite. ". . .I love you."

Reesa laughed again, her shoulders shaking a bit when she did. She bit her own cookie again and drank cocoa as she swallowed the bite. "Thank you, but it really isn't much." She stood up again and started to move the cookies into a tin, leaving a few of each type out. Those that she left out she wrapped up in a bit of cellophane that she had to wrap around the tin. She tied a bow around the cellophane and brought it to the table, setting it down in front of Denny. "For you," she said with a smile.

"To you, maybe." She smiled, glad that she had decided to be rude. Not only did she get to eat cookies, she got to spend time with someone new. Making friends was a definite highlight to her days. People were just fun. Hands down.
She blinked a few times at the cookies Reesa'd set before her, then looked up at her with a smile. "Really? Thank you!"

"I had plenty more than I needed to send," Reesa responded, shrugging it off. "They were for my sister, and she doesn't deserve all of them, anyway," she joked.

"Well thank you. Extras or not, it's very sweet of you." She smiled. "I'm going to have to repay you sometime, you know that right?"

"That's not necessary," Reesa said, charming her used dishes clean. She took off her apron and dusted off her clothes, untying the ribbon from her red hair and letting it fall free around her shoulders for a moment before pulling it back up away from her shoulders and tying the ribbon around it.

"Not necessary, but completely happening." She smiled, finishing off her cocoa. "I'm not sure what it is I'll do to repay you. But it will be something."

Reesa smiled and sat back down. She didn't know what to say. People were not often kind to her. Not that they were mean, but because they didn't notice her. She was quite invisible, and she had really done a lot of work to make that so. She didn't regret talking to Denny, or giving her cookies, because Denny seemed like a genuinely good person. She looked forward to seeing what Denny would do for her in return. She sipped her cocoa again, looked idly away from the other girl, and then stood up and began cleaning what remained dirty. A counter, the mugs, the plates.
