So, today was exciting. Apparently in Arithmancy class they met a quidditch star. He didn't know. Quidditch wasn't really his thing. He seemed to know Professor Gaikotsu, though, and Birdy definitely knew who he was. Seriously. He didn't need to see that. Afterwards, though, Professor Gaikotsu informed them they had a pair assignment. He had a date tonight but whatever. Of course he chose Jonas as his partner. He needed someone easy to work with who could get it done fast.
And that was why Brin was sitting here in the commons. He had asked Jonas to meet him a bit after class so they could get it done early and... well, he needed some lunch. And pudding bitches.
For the time being, though, he was reading a book he had picked up in the library, absently picking at his food.

Thank god for lunch, right? Lunch was a brilliant invention. Any time between classes was brilliant.
He glanced around a bit, trying to find a seat. Then noticed Brin sitting there reading. Hm....He made his way over. Bright as any other day, colored dreads in his hair, clothes to match. Screw he was cute.
Keahi stopped on the other side of the table, dropping his bag down into the seat.
"Hey, did I leave a paper in that book I gave back?"
It wasn't the most important paper, just notes...But it was still important enough to ask. Keahi needed all the notes he could get.
. . .
Okay. So he was pretty sure he didn't leave it in Brin's book. But he could always check. What? He didn't have a hidden agenda.

Brin wasn't really extremely focused on his book. He was sort of wondering what Sheena was up to. He never really saw her around but he was interested to get to see her again tonight. He wondered what she did all day, if she was looking forward to seeing him, what they should go and do. What? She was cute. And interesting. He was intrigued.
When Keahi walked up he caught him with a mouth full of chocolate pudding, which he didn't swallow before speaking.
"Huh?"
Okay, so 'speaking' wasn't really the last word.

. . .
That was lovely. He was so articulate. . . Yeah.
"The book I have back to you."
He quirked an eyebrow. Apparently he wasn't listening.
"Was there a paper in it?"

He swallowed, looking up at him. Here was this kid again. He just kept popping up. And really? He wasn't complaining. He was cute and quirky and always interesting to talk to. He smiled.
"Why? Was it something interesting?"
He couldn't help it. Keahi just brought the snarky out in him.

He couldn't help the popping up. The first couple times were an accident. This time...well. It was definitely on purpose. He had a reason to be there. He did. Screw.
It just helped that he was attracted to Brin.
"Yes. If you call notes interesting."
Keahi rolled his eyes, mostly out of habit. Brin had smiled at him. And that was a good sign, right? He was going to take that as a yes.
"I lost them and my test is coming up soon."

He sighed, dissapointed that there was nothing interesting for him to hold over his head. Didn't really matter. He hadn't found the paper.
But still...
"And what if I do have them?"
He threw him a grin, obviously in too good of a mood to be helpful.

"Then I would like them back."
Yes, Keahi knew that he probably didn't have them. He knew that when he asked the question. That didn't mean he couldn't play along. If Brin wanted to pretend he had Keahi's papers, Keahi would pretend too.
He picked up his back, sitting in it's place.
"And I wouldn't leave til I got them."

He shrugged, continuing his game.
"Alright then."
Back to his pudding. He held him up a spoonful.
"Pudding?"

He was okay with continuing the game.
Pudding? He paused...Then shrugged, leaning forward a bit. Mouth open for pudding. He wasn't about to try and take the spoon. Call him lazy.
And no. He wasn't making an 'aah' sound. But it was there.

He paused and smirked, not yet handing it over. He leaned forward a bit too, face up close to his.
"I thought you didn't like pudding."

He closed his mouth for a second, before speaking.
"I never said I didn't like pudding."

He quirked an eyebrow lightly.
"So not true."

"I didn't say I didn't like it."
He made a bit of a face.
"I just said I didn't want it then."

He gave him a suspicious look, before finally holding the spoon out to him again. He supposed he could have some.
