"Alright. I'll hold you to that."
Which meant she had to talk to him again. Alright. He could do that. He'd let her off the hook for a little. Unless there was a group activity or something. Then her partner was him. No question.

She glanced up at him then looked back down at her paper. See? He got a little smile. But back to note-taking.

He'd take a little smile. For now. He expected more later. He needed more later. He thrived on such things.
But he supposed he'd take some notes. Glancing over every so often.

Well she didn't do anything interesting for the rest of the class period. Her doodle of the plant finished itself, however. She would definitely look it up later.

He got some notes down. Random things. He really didn't care enough to take any in detail. They were just notes. He'd study later off a book or something if he felt like passing.
Whatever. He did get bored a bit in and start messing with his thumb nail. Just changing the shape of it. Nothing dramatic. Not attention grabbing. Just bored movement.
And then the class ended and it startled him, stopping his nail mid change. He blinked. Oh. Right.

She took down the reading for the night and started packing her things up, not noticing his shifting thumb. As far as she knew there was nothing strange about this guy at all past his red hair. But who was she to judge?

She didn't really need to know there was anything different about him. It wasn't something he advertised, believe it or not. It was just part of him. He didn't hide it, but he didn't bother telling anyone.
After packing his things, he turned to look at her, sitting on the table.
"So how 'bout those notes?"

She stood, slinging her bag over her shoulder and blinked. What was he talking about? Notes? Oh... right, she said that, didn't she.
"You're going to copy them over now?"

"Either now or if you plan on meeting me later so I can copy them. It's really up to you. Though I do have a class soon."
Lies. His class was in about an hour.

She dug her notebook out of her bag and opened it up to rip out the pages, excluding her plant drawing, of course. She held them out to him.
"Don't worry about it. I used the wrong notebook anyways. You can just give those back tomorrow."
She closed her bag back up and grabbed her coat. She reached up for a moment to scratch her cheek and realized, finally there was an annoying little patch of dirt. She rubbed it off and glanced back up at him a bit.
"See you tomorrow."
Emma out, without so much as a glance back. She had a plant to look up.

He took the notes. Then watched her rub the dirt off.
"Okay...see ya."
And she walked off.
. . .
That didn't just happen. She did not just.....What the hell was that?! Lucan was appalled! That had never happened to him. Not once. How does someone just....What the hell?!
He gave out a rather disgusted, insulted sound before storming out the door. This was retarded. He was going to go straight back to his dorm. Sleep or something. Ugh.
. . .She wasn't going to ignore him tomorrow.
