It wasn't that he hated his dorm. Or his dorm mate. Just that he liked his room at home. And on occasion he'd head home and live his life there. Because he got whatever he wanted. For free. What was bad about that?
And on occasion he came home to be a little bitch and complain. Because life sucks.
Into the Candy shop, he slammed the door behind him and grabbed a licorice on his way towards the back. Completely bypassing Cosette on his way by. He made a bit of a wave, half assed but whatever.
UGH. He needed to...He doesn't know. Find someone who wasn't working? Where were Drystan and Cerys?

The wandstore above the candy shop wasn't very big, but it was Cerys' shop and it was all she needed in the world. Her little trips down into the candystore, well, that was just her wanting candy, or to take a break from working all day. Besides, she liked to talk to Cosette. The leggy platinum blonde coudln't have been happier when the Jenkin's let her rent the room above the shop. She knew she couldn't afford her own shop, let alone a place to live, and they welcomed her in with open arms, no strings attatched. She tried to keep up on rent as well as she could, but it could be tough sometimes, bussiness what it was, and especially during the school year when repairs was all she really got. She tried though, she really did. She owed them everything.
As for Drystan and Lucan? Well. She loved the little metamorphmagus. She known him since he was little. That's all she has to say.
Heading downstairs inside the shop, Cerys didn't even bother worrying about the short, tight black dress riding up as she made her way down. Don't get excited, though, just because she was pretty didn't mean she wasn't a very strong wizard. So no touching.
"Hey, Cosette?" She hadn't noticed the fuming boy just yet. "I desperately need something sour."

Cosette:
Just because she was blind didn't mean she couldn't see. This was the wizarding world. There were spells and potions for everything. No, she wasn't cured of her blindness. And she didn't see the same as everyone else. But she didn't really know that. She was blind since birth. So how she saw was all she'd known. There was no comparison. Only the difference from no sight, to the altered one she had. There was a potion she had to take every so often. It helped.
She could see things and work at Jenkins. So what wasn't to like?
She glanced up from what she was doing at the counter. Lucan had just come in. And now Cerys was her. Busy day.
"Sour? Well. There are a few lemon candies over here. And the-"
Lucan:
"Cerys!"
He flung himself at the blonde, wrapping his arms around her, head buried in her shoulder.
"It's awful!"

Cerys thought Cosette was just adorable. She couldn't imagine not being able to see, or at least see what she does, but Cosette seemed to be doing pretty okay. She was always good to talk to when work was getting touch upstairs. Okay, so besides working on new wands Cerys didn't really do much. She spent a lot of time down here.
Lemon had already started intriguing her but before she could hear what else she had to choose from she had vibrant... redhead attatched to her. She stumbled a bit, blinking her big grey eyes at the boy in her shoulder.
...shoulder? She was so sure.
"Um... what's awful Lucan?"

Cosette:
She didn't mind Cerys. She was nice to her. So everything was good. And it was always nice to have the company. Sometimes it got lonely during the hours when no one came in. Generally Tristan or Cerys kept her company though so it was okay.
And Lucan startled her. She hadn't expected the outburst.
Lucan:
Yeah, yeah. Close enough to shoulder.
"Everything!"
Not everything. Just what he wanted to bitch about. He held himself closer. Burying more.
"There's this girl Emma and she won't really pay attention to be and every time we get to talk stupid Professor scarface interrupts and it's NOT FAIR!"

She blinked down at the boy who was close to her shoulder. This wasn't the first time this had happened, it had simply startled her. She sighed, shaking her head.
"Well if she won't pay attention to you then why do you care about her?"
She pet his pretty little head of hair, letting his burrow.

She shook her head and went back to what she was doing. Oh Lucan.
Lucan:
He sniffled. Not that he was crying or anything. It just helped.
"Because she's pretty and I want her to pay attention to me."
He paused for a second.
"And it is completely infuriating that she doesn't! I keep trying and nothing's happening!"

This was not unsual. She thought he was a great kid but the attention grubbing thing was definitely a downfall. She knew what was going on now. This girl wasn't paying attention to him and he wasn't going to stop until she did.
"Well, why wouldn't she pay attention to you?"
It was true, he was a very interesting person.

He couldn't help it. That was just who he was. And he liked it that way. He wanted the attention. And she just wouldn't give it.
"I don't know! She's too into plants to pay attention or something. And stupid Professor scarface."
He made a whining sound into her 'shoulder'.

She paused, thinking about that last bit for a moment. As for the 'shoulder' bit? She'd move him later. He was upset.
She smirked.
"You mean Professor Darcy?"

"Yes. Professor doesn't know how to shave."
Hmph. Jackass.

Okay, she had to laugh a little at that.
"Wow. Guess he hasn't changed since I've been there."
Finally she rolled her eyes, hands on his shoulders moving him back away from her.
"Do you ever see her outside of class?"

"Apparently not. He's still an ass."
He mumbled something about him.
"Yes. Sort of. And it doesn't work then either."
He made a really pathetic depressed face at her.

She chuckled, brushing a bit of hair out of his face.
"Don't make that face."
She moved past him, wandering over to the front desk. She still needed something sour.
"Lemon and?"
She glanced back at Lucan.
"Well, what usually happens?"

Cosette:
She picked up a candy from the wall behind her and held it out to Cerys.
"This."
Lucan:
He continued to make his face, watching he walk off. Then sighed.
"She talks to me. Then moves on."
He sighed. Taking a bite out of his licorice before plopping on the floor.
