September 19th - Friday
Dark plants? Now this Olivia was okay with. As for her silly little required 100 series charms classes? Not so much.
Sitting near the middle of the class, the brunette was hurriedly taking notes while their professor lectured. It was primarily a lecture class, considering Professor Suzuki really couldn't bring in most of the plants she was talking about. Notes, research, lots of essay homework, Olivia didn't really mind.
Some stupid girls were passing notes like they were in highschool nearby and she shot them a frown. How did they even get in this class?
She went back to her notes.

This class was one of the better ones he was taking. He really enjoyed learning about dangerous plants. They were fascinating. No question about that.
But fascinating or not, nothing could get him to sit in the front of the room. Nothing here, anyhow. Instead he was in the back, maybe not the very last row, but pretty close. Mindlessly taking notes. He didn't really need them. This was interesting to him, so he'd remember it any how.
If anything in the future he planned to own these plants. All of them. It would be wonderful.

It was interesting, she had to admit it, definately something that mattered in her feild of expertise. No reason to know how to stop some wild animal when a flower could slip up nehind you and eat you. No, you had to be well-rounded. She almost was completely. It was kind of funny, she had taken some of Professor Suzuki's other classes and for such a weird little... giggly thing she certainly knew her dangerous plants and she really didn't hate listening to her lecture.
It was odd, but always very to the point.
Her notes were interrupted again by the idiots and their giggles. She thew them a rather nasty glare this time.

Funny, Erin rather liked this class too. But then, she liked her higher level classes. The students actually cared about what they were learning, for the most part anyways.
Lecture over, she moved on to homework.
"...so, I'm going to split you up into pairs and I'll assign you one of the poisonous plants we've been talking about this week. Some of you will get the same plant, but that's fine. I want to know about antidotes, anti-venoms, anything that will save you from the effects of the poison."
She moved around behind her desk, pulling out a list of students and the plants they had been studying.
"It will all be random, so don't worry."
She searched around for a moment or two until she finally spotted her wand laying over by some of her gardening equipment. A quick swish and the names rearranged themselves with a plant to match. She began reading off the names.

A demonstration was much preferred to lecture. No matter how interesting the topic. Or animated the speaker. He wanted to see the plants in person. Touch them. Maybe even go through the effects of the poison, if need be. To understand them better.
According to his other Professor some of these plants had hallucinogenic properties that some in the wizarding world used in divination. Of course some of them tried to get the plants and got eaten. Not that it had much to do with anything. He really didn't plan on being eaten.
And as far as he could see it wasn't going to happen any time soon. That was a perk.
Wait.
Partners?
That really deserved a frown.

She couldn't help but sigh when she heard the word 'partners'. Hadn't they gotten over that in secondary school?

Erin continued reading off their names, ignoring the groans and annoyed looks. Some of them were annoyed they couldn't be with who they wanted and some of them were just mad to have to work with anyone. She just wanted to see the work get done.
"Aldrick Montag and Olivia Darling."
And a wonderfully aweful plant that's thorns were dripping with a sleeping drought that not only put you into a deep, deep sleep, but then erroded you from the inside out.

He glanced up when his name was called. That plant they were assigned wasn't that bad. If anything it would be an extremely interesting assignment, subject alone.
'Olivia Darling' was his partner? Sounded familiar. He glanced over to see who it was.

Aldrick Montag...
...who?
Olicia glanced up at her name and looked around. She really should have learned who all was in this class.

"...and I'll see you all on Friday."
Further proving that she was finished with them, Erin moved about to clean up her things. Well in accordance to the topic matter, this class was one of her later ones, just a bit before dinner and only three times a week.

Late, he liked. Infrequent, not so much.
He collected his things. Notes, really. And waited for people to clear out. If this Olivia girl was smart at all she'd wait to see who he was.

She wasn't sure who her partner was, but she was more worried about cleaning up her things than looking at the moment. At least she knew it wasn't one of those girls. They were already gone.
Olivia stood up and took a look around.

He sat there, on the table instead of the seat, playing with one of the white-blonde dreads. Palm rolling it a bit. There were two girls left, who were cleaning their things. Which meant it had to be one of the two.
"Olivia."
He figured saying her name would make her look. If not then she was either stupid, or deaf. Neither of which he was okay with her being.

Her eyes snapped up, catching sight of the boy on the table. She remembered him now. How could she not? You don't just forget someone like that. Not that she had ever spoken to him or anything, she was here to learn.
She arched a very well maintained eyebrow.
"You had better be Aldrick."

"Who?" He'd become accustomed to sarcasm and jokes in English early on. He preferred the dead-pan ones. Much more him.
