"Did you use magic?"
She was half-conversing. Yes, she was curious, but she also wanted to get this done.

"No. I had a friend do them."

Friend? He had a friend? She found that a little hard to believe.
She got the information she wanted, so she was right back to working. This wasn't going to take long at all.

Yes. He had a few. And in personality they were very similar to him. Except a bit more submissive.

She glanced up again.
"Which part would you rather take?"

"Whatever. It doesn't really matter to me." Another shrug.

She looked up, leaning her chin on her hand and thinking it over.
"I guess we'll just have to combine what we have. I can't think of any definitive parts."

"That works." He glanced down at his papers...then pulled out a clean one and began jotting quick translated notes.

She glanced up at the paper, then smirked and looked up at him.
"No more German?"

"Nein." He twirled his quill in his fingers, simply waiting.

Could he see that look on her face? That was her num, sexy German face.
Back to the paper.
"Ew."
She slipped her paper over to him.

"Ew?" He frowned. "Was ew?"

"It's a noise to express disgust."
She knew he knew what 'ew' was. Didn't stop it from being funny.
By the way, she just thought the process of one of the antidotes was gross. Kind of.
