Rini didn't notice the smile. If she had she probably wouldn't have understood at all why he was smiling. And what did being Asian have to do with it?
She nodded, looking back down at her papers. Another bout of dizziness was coming on and she found herself closing her eyes just to try and not topple over again.

It was a known fact. Asians were either cute of funny looking. And she wasn't funny looking. Extremely not funny looking.
"Are you sure you're going to be alright?" He frowned again.

She didn't even think not to answer, just squeezed her eyes tighter.
"My head just hurts..."

Jonas frowned again, kneeling next to her. He was ignoring his knees.
"Where does it hurt?"

She motioned with her hand, very non-specifically, keeping her eyes closed.
"Just... all over.."

Biting his lip he shifted a bit.
"Do you mind if I...try to make it better?"

There was that blush she had been missing. It crawled up onto her cheeks and decided to stay put as she opened her eyes, staring up again. She didn't even know what to say.
"Um... I..."

"Er..." It sounded awkward and he knew it. But he meant it completely innocently. "I've been studying medical magic for a bit..."

She opened her mouth again, still not sure what to say. Of course if he was studying medical magic but...
Ignoring her brain she shut her mouth and nodded.

"Alright." He nodded. Reflex. Then he pulled out his wand, carefully bringing it near her head so he could try the spell.
He knew it worked, but usually he used it on himself and not other people. Hopefully it would fix what was hurting her. Quietly he said the words, hoping it worked.

She closed her eyes and waited, a little apprehensive but at the same time relaxed. He had such a nice voice, she realized. Soft and calming. A warm sensation took over her head and as it drifted away so did the pain.
She sighed, content, practically melting into her chair.

She was lucky to even hear his voice. Generally he only spoke when he needed to. To professors and the like. He never spoke that loud, even to them. Even now.
Jonas watched as her features softened, no longer in pain. It made him smile a bit. Glad to have helped.

He was lucky too, to hear her voice that was. It wasn't that she was necessarily afraid of other people it was just that she didn't always want to be around them. She could assure you there was a difference. Sometimes she got a little flustered, both in large groups and one-on-one but it probably had a lot to do with her lack of practice. She was much happier with her books and animated objects than with people. Except for Keahi. She loved being around Keahi, always. And she was getting used to the sound of Jonas' voice.
Another sigh and her eyes stayed closed. It was like he wrapped a warm, cozy blanket around her headache and soothed it away. Normally this lasted all night. A yawn interrupted her calm and she was forced to lift a hand to cover it.

It was a very nice sound. Her voice. He didn't mind hearing it, at all.
As for him...He wasn't a people person. By choice. And he really intended to keep it that way.
"Maybe you should return to your dorm.."

Her eyes fell to glance to the side again. She did nod, though.
"Probably."
She spoke softly, and paused, before standing up and gathering her things.
