There are no questions. Only answers.
Something Aqui lived by. It was her way of life and she enjoyed it. The answers were always right. And she needed to know them.
Though sometimes she didn't want to know them. Because they annoyed her. Little things, like the weather. And bigger things. Like anything to do with her students.
Like Birdy. She was constantly late or not showing up. It was a horrid practice. And today of all days it was going to foil her.
Aqui specifically locked the door once class started. Just to make sure she'd go uninterrupted. And you know what she had to do? Unlock it for Birdy.
Great day. Just great. Birdy would be rolling in any second now. So she'd just have to wait at her desk. After telling everyone to turn in their work, of course. She was still a teacher.

Birdy was late. Shocker, right? It was a habit she had aquired once she got here to a school where they didn't punish you if you did something wrong. It was your problem if you failed not theirs. She kind of liked it but it had let her lax personality run free. She didn't like Arithmancy. She wasn't good at it and she never would be. It just didn't click in her head. Possibly there was a language barrier, but either way it just didn't work. So, a lot of the time she stayed out late playing quidditch and slept in late to skip class. Or she meant to get to class and ended up getting going late.
Like today.
It was just a few minutes, really, but Professor Gaikotsu was always very punctual and had apparently already locked the door. Knocking frantically on the door, Birdy was still zipping her sweatshirt up, hair frazzled and unkempt from a quick morning.

She explained something about the previous days homework, then there it was. Birdy. She sighed, slowly standing. Making her way lazily to the door. Birdy could wait the extra thirty seconds. She was coming.
Once there she unlocked the door, a charm not a lock, and swung it open. A look set on her face. A very obvious 'again?'

She knew she was taking her time. It was okay. It gave her a chance to try and fix her hair a bit. If she knew what today really meant, though she would be kicking herself right now. She probably should have put a little makeup on.
The door opened to her exasperated Professor and she threw her a truly apologetic look.
"I-I slept and-!" She struggled for the words. "Denise was gone-!"

"Mhm. I know I know. Go sit down, Birdy."
She rolled her eyes, closing the door behind the girl. On her way back to her desk, the idea of locking her door NOT in her head, she glance back at her.
"Should I assume you didn't do your homework?"

She shuffled into the room. Of course, she had an excuse for that too. Not a lie, just an excuse.
"Well... I was at the Quidditch Pitch..."
She slowly sat down, still looking up at her and picking her back up into her lap.
"I... started?"

"You don't need to explain."
She sighed again, sitting on her desk, crossing one leg over the other. Picking up the other papers on her desk, the finished assignments of the other students, she looked down away from Birdy.
"I need it finished, not started."
Moving on she proceeded to tell them about what they were studying that day.

She nodded, slouching into her seat to be miserable for the rest of the class period.
Brin Ferrer: By the way, he did his homework. Well. And checked it over a couple of times to make corrections.
All ready to take notes.
Alexander Suzuki: He was very grateful for Birdy's being late. He would make it up to her. For now, though he was just wandering around a bit after breakfast with Aqui. He had a lunch date with his sister in a bit but for this class period he really had run out of things to do.
Aqui already knew he was on his way to peek in and see what was going on and he assumed she did but she couldn't stop him. He understood that much.

She knew there was nothing she could do about it. She also knew the reason was that she was preoccupied. That would be the only reason she'd let him into her classroom. So obviously.
And she was preoccupied. Explaining just how to figure out the numbers that explained what peoples future goals will be. The real goals, not the 'I want to' goals. The ones people get accomplished. Such as profession and the like.
If she'd remembered Alexander was going to show up she would have run to lock the door.
Jonas:
He did his homework as well. And took notes.
It was all he did.

Alexander: He loved bugging Aqui. He knew it was never a surprise but it didn't stop it from being fun for him.
Either way he knocked. Then he opened the door and poked his head in but still.
"Hey, am I in the right class?"
Brin: He glanced up as the guy poked his head in, but didn't particularly recognize him. He was too old to be a student right..?
Birdy: Birdy did more than glance. Well, the first thing she did do was glance up at the voice, but when she saw the face behind it she did something entirely different. And very not Birdy. It was sort of a squeal. A squeal of pure delight, shock and undying love for the man she had memorized every little fact about.
She definitely wasn't slumping anymore.

She frowned, remembering what she was supposed to have done. Great.
"No. Go away."
She gave a frustrated sigh, eyes moving quickly to Birdy. She knew it. She knew it! This was going to be a sucky sucky class period and she didn't even need Arithmancy to know it! He wasn't going to leave and she was going to have to teach around him or not at all.
Jonas:
He did glance up and over. But he had no idea who that man was. At all. Apparently Birdy did though...

Alexander: He was going to grin for Aqui, but Birdy actually made him jump at the noise. He glanced over at her.
Brin: The FUCK was that?
Birdy: Eyes wide, she covered her mouth with her hands. When she spoke it was in French. Not her fault.
~"You're Alexander Suzuki! One of the most successful beaters Puddlemere United has ever had!~
Alexander: He... didn't really catch all that. He heard his name, though, and he was pretty sure his team which gave him a bit of a tip as to what was going on.
Heh.
"I'm.. here visiting my sister. And Aqui?"
Of course her name was followed by a pair of puppydog eyes he knew she couldn't resist.

She frowned again. For Birdy.
No, she didn't speak french. But she knew. Oh she knew. Birdy knew who Alexander was and she was stoked. Yes, stoked. This was annoying already. Maybe she'd get an ulcer.
One more sigh, turning her eyes on Alexander.
"You can stay but you're now allowed to talk."
Jonas:
Maybe he'd learn French for the hell of it.

Birdy: She wasn't paying attention to Aqui. Her big, round hazel eyes were transfixed on the quidditch star in front of her. She was pretty sure she was in love.
Finally she realized she needed to speak english.
"What are you doing here?!"
Alexander: He grinned for Aqui, then paused for the excited girl. She asked him a question. But Aqui said he couldn't talk. He looked between the two for a bit before answering bravely.
"My sister is your Herbology professor."
Brin: Suzuki? Was that she had said in her French ramblings? As in Professor Suzuki? He was starting to understand. But who was this guy that Birdy cared so much?

"Leave."
She frowned at him, adjusting her seat on the desk.
"I said no talking. Out."
She didn't sound like she was joking. Not that she'd actually kick him out though. Unfortunately he might know that.
"I'm trying to teach."
Jonas:
There was definitely something going on. Herbology. Suzuki. That made sense. Which made him....Who? He might have gotten the first name if it hadn't run into the french.
