Awful, not awful, she really had no assumptions. He could have been awful before. He could be awful now. Whatever.
"See you again? When again?"
Her tone was light and playful. Not quite committing to the idea.

He shrugged a bit, acting as nonchalant as she was.
"When are you free?"

"I suppose any time with the right amount of warning."
She shrugged. This was a very nonchalant conversation.

He chuckled and shook his head. Too nonchalant. For now he felt like taking a little charge of the situation or it wasn't going to get anywhere.
"Tomorrow. Dinner."

"Tomorrow?"
She paused for a moment or two, as if in thought. Just drawing out the situation. Before giving a slight sigh and a nod. Trying to hold back a bit of a smirk.
"Alright. I can do that."

He nodded, throwing her a bit of a smile.
"Good."
Though he didn't move from his spot. Not just yet.

Very cute smile.
"So do I get my books back?"
He could stay as long as he wanted, she didn't mind. Really.

He paused and finally nodded.
"Yeah."
Pushing himself up, he stood, looking her over. Standing a little close to her now.
"I think I can trust you."
With the books that was. As a person? It took him a little longer than that.

"Good."
She gave him a flirty smile, not moving. He was quite tall. She couldn't help but take the time to look him over again.
She didn't expect anything more than the books right now. Especially as far as trust went.

He was tall. No, not his whole life but when he grew he really grew. The skinny didn't help make him look any shorter either. He smiled back down at her.
"So.. what time?"

It worked for him.
"I'm going to say seven."
She brushed her hair over her shoulder again.
"Sounds like a good time for dinner."

He chuckled a bit and nodded.
"Seven it is."
He lingered in front of her for a moment.
"Take care of those books, I'll be watching."
And with the he slipped past her, brushing up close on his way by and headed for the door.

She almost stopped him. Almost. But she decided not to
"Good."
After a second she decided to head back to her side of the room. Obviously not caring much for the setting. After, of course, kicking at the clothes hamper again.
