And she had to pause for a second. Shocked, once again.
He hadn't backed out. True, it would have been a jackass move. But still. There were ways to do it without seeming like a total asshole. But apparently he couldn't do it. He couldn't leave the risk that it would come out that way.
"Okay. My dorm is number 308."
This was weird. But what could they do? He'd agreed. She'd agreed. Now it had to happen. Maybe it would actually work out well?

Well wasn't what he wanted. At all.
He nodded.
"Cool. I'll stop by later."
He needed to get out of here. Another nod and he grabbed his bag, standing up to leave.
"I have class in a bit so I should get going. I will see you later though. ...bye."
He turned, awkward as ever and started off. He would be there. Hepromised afterall. Ugh. He left his stuff behind, too annoyed to even bother throwing it out. This was going to be a long day. At least his next class was easy. ...where did those freshman go?

This turned out weird.
"Alright."
She nodded, watching as he stood and got his bag.
"Okay...See you later."
Awkward was an understatement. Let's just say he wasn't the vision of confidence he had appeared as. Lettie watched him walk off. A little too stuck in her head to really notice much of her surroundings anymore.
What had she gotten herself into? She could have just said she was seeing someone or something. Gay? Honestly, she had no idea where that came from. Probably some excuse she'd picked up from her brother or something.
Speaking of...she supposed she'd have to tell him about this.
