Not his fault! It was a ton of crazy words he didn't even know exsisted. He thought Divination was Divination. You saw the future in... a crystal ball, right? He really didn't know. He didn't take Divination at Hogwarts.
He blinked, looking back up at him again, surprised for no other reason than it was interesting.
"Oh."
Smooth.
Things were about to get better, though. He beamed at the name, fiddling with his sleeves again.
"Avery."
Was that a step backwards in the conversation? He really didn't care.
"I've... never heard that name before.."

Heh.
He smiled, though it never did quite meet his eyes it was there. None of them ever did. It was a real smile, though. They all were. He didn't fake things like that.
"Really? Huh. It's norse."
As if that explained it all.
"Avery is a cool name."
And it was really good on him. It matched. He was extremely cute.

Blink.
"Norse?"
But moving on. Though it didn't move to his eyes he could tell it was genuine. Maybe he just wanted it to be or maybe he could just tell that that was the kind of person he was but it was making him smile too. One he couldn't help. Trying not to look like an idiot he looked down a bit, but was soon glancing back up.
He shrugged a bit.
"I got lucky."
Weren't they talking about something before...? Ah, he remembered. Clearing his throat a bit, he glanced up at the shelf.
"So um... heh, I don't think I'm going to be very helpful here, am I?"

He nodded in response. It wasn't really something they needed to go into. Not right now anyways. Not that there was a story. It just matched his surname. And his mother liked it, so that's why he was named it. Plus something divine or something. He couldn't remember.
"I'm sure you did."
He continued to smile. Oh. They were talking about something weren't they? Right...
"I'm sure you'd be a lot of help. You do work here, after all."
Another nod.

He reached up, mussing his hair up a bit and looking over the books. He turned back to look at him, momentarily taking in the fact that Sindri was taller than him. That wasn't really a difficult feat but still.
"I don't know, we may not even have anything you're looking for..."
His eyes moved back to scan over the books. It was like a different language to him. This would all be easier if the other had a title in mind.
"Um... what were the topics again?"
Damnit if he wasn't going to at least try and help him.

Sindri couldn't help but watch him and smile. Everything he did was cute. He liked it. He wanted more of it. Anything he did would be okay by him. Just as long as he did it.
"Um. How about Oneiromancy?"
And, not because he didn't have faith in him, he added on.
"Divination through dreams."
He had faith in Avery. But just in case. It helped things along. Maybe it would bring a title to mind or something. He hoped so. Not that he minded sitting around here chatting with him. He'd adore that.

He was being cute? He didn't really notice. Really, he was just acting like he always did. He was okay with the compliment, though, he could even feel free to say it outloud.
His brow furrowed softly at the word, not looking up at him until he explained.
Tch.
"I... know."
Ahem. Back to looking over the shelf.
"Um..."
He leaned up as well as he could to look over the books. Nothing was jumping out like it should have been. Why couldn't the titles just say what they were supposed to?

Of course he was being cute. With a face and demeanor like that how could he not? It was just genetic. Sindri was sure of it.
"Alright."
He chuckled a bit, pretty sure that Avery was lying. But it was okay. It didn't bother him in the least.
Sindri watched him a bit longer before turning his eyes back to the books.
"It's okay if there are none. It was just an idea."

He made a face, holding onto the shelf now to keep looking.
"I'm sure there's something... these titles are just so... cryptic."
Oh! He saw something. A little higher than he was but he was sure he could reach it if he just stretched...

"Well."
Sindri chuckled, nodding.
"They are divination books. Cryptic is expected."
Hm? He moved his eyes to where Avery was reaching. Not quite reaching, really. He moved over next to him to reach up and grab the book he was reaching for. To help.

He chuckled softly. It was true, he supposed Divinations was confusing. It was one of the reasons he didn't take the class.
Catching the movement out of the corner of his eye, Avery tried to move out of the way but only ended up brushing his hand over his and leaning the wrong direction. Right into him. They barely bumped but he quickly moved out of the way, eyes shifting to the side.
Heh.
"Thanks.."

Sindri would be a liar if he said he hadn't felt that. Or felt that. He did. He most certainly did. It sent a nice warm little shiver down his spine. He liked it. It was something he could live off of.
He looked down at the book in his hand.
"No."
He shook his head, smiling over at him.
"You found me a book. So thank you."
Really, he was grateful. It looked like something he'd not seen before. So it must have been something good. His mommy would probably like it.

Avery was still feeling it. He had been so close and for a brief moment he fit perfectly against him. He could have stayed there forever. Sadly it was only for a second or two. Oh well. It was enough.
Reaching up again, he ran his fingers through his hair, smiling up at him as he spoke. Apparently he did good.
"I hope it's one she hasn't read yet. Out selection isn't huge here."

It wasn't enough. It really wasn't enough. Sindri wanted more. He did. It felt good. Being that close to him, even for that little amount of time, had been one of the best feelings he'd had in a while. He wanted to keep it with him.
"If it is, oh well. It's new to me. So atleast I'll get something out of it."
Sindri chuckled again. Now that he had his book, though, what was he supposed to do?

He smiled, chuckling again and nodding. It sounded like a good plan.
Shifting a bit, his sleeves found their way over his hands again, leaving them to be fiddled with in front of him. He was standing rather close to him now but not so much that it could be construed as weird. But, what now?
"Um... did you need anything else?"
