"Not really."
Unfortunate as it was. But what could he do? It was true. He didn't need anything else. Not another book anyways. But he didn't want to leave.
"I hope you're not busy."
A good way to start off. He was almost positive he wasn't busy. But that was beside the point.
"Have you always worked here, Avery? I've never been to this shop before."

His expression dropped, hopefully not too horribly noticeably. He knew he had to go but he wasn't ready to stop looking at him yet. And he was really loving the tone of his voice...
He lit up as he started talking again, his smile spreading back across his face. He shook his head to the busy bit, before answering his question. He leaned against the shelf, tugging at his sleeves.
"I guess forever..."
He shrugged a little, ready for an interesting reaction.
"My parents own the store."
Surprise~

"Really?"
He tilted his head a bit.
"That's cool."
Really he thought it was. His grandparents owned a store. But it wasn't a bookstore. Just supplies and such. Nothing this interesting.
"Have you read most of the books in here? I don't think I could stop myself if I was here all the time."
He tended to just talk. Say whatever came to mind. Sometimes ramble.

He liked the rambling, hence his head leaning over to rest against the shelf as he listened. He smiled again.
"Not yet. It's about all there is to do at night, though."

"I can imagine."
He was sure there was more to do outside of the shop, though. Not that he'd really know. He didn't get to be in Hogsmeade at night. Not too late anyhow. Curfew and all that. But he was sure the town was rather lively at night.
"What's your favorite subject to read?"
