He watched for a second, the same look on his face. A little toned down though. His eyes never left that book. Just in case it got loose. It seemed to want his blood or something.
"Does your book dislike me?"
It was a valid question, or atleast he thought so.

She blinked, looking up at him. She had sort of forgotten he was there. It happened when she got into things like Transfiguration. She felt a little guilty as she hugged the book back to her chest.
"It doesn't really like anyone."
Well, excluding her. And Jonas... heh.

"Should it be allowed to roam, then?"
He wasn't saying she should lock it up. But if it was going to attack people. He knew he personally didn't like the idea of a notebook biting him. But that was just his opinion.

"What?"
She blinked again, this time more confused by what he said than anything. How could he think her journal was dangerous?
"It's... it's not going to hurt anyone..."

"Not to dispute, but...It just tried to bit me."
Yes to dispute.

"But-!"
Her eyes widened, hugging the book tighter. She had a right to be a little upset by the idea. They were her only friends. Well, besides Keahi. Did Jonas count..?
"It's just a little protective!"

"You should teach it to be a little less violent, then."
No, he wasn't a nice guy. He was just nice to girls. It was a book. It had no gender.

She frowned, just a bit. She couldn't help it. These were her books he was talking about.
"It's just young. It's not hurting anyone."
Besides. If it didn't like him it probably had a reason.

"Yet."
He could understand being defensive of her things, but it was a little ridiculous. It tried to bite him. Not play a game.

Her frown deepened. Normally she wouldn't act like this but he was walking a thin line.
"It wouldn't hace tried to bite you without a reason."

"I didn't do anything to it."
He frowned, obviously not enjoying the insinuation.

Well she didn't like what he was saying about her book. It wasn't a thing it was her friend and most trusted companion.
"Must be a vibe then."

"A vibe?"
He paused, a slightly confused look crossing his face. He had no idea what that meant. Vibe? What did that mean?

She didn't change her expression. Language barrier or not he was bothering her.
"It senses something it doesn't like."

He still didn't exactly understand what vibe meant, but he was moving on to what she'd said.
"How? I haven't done anything. I'm not a bad person."
It was true.
