Hmph.
"Well neither is it."
Rini was done. She began to pack up her other books, happy to be moved to her bag.

"I was not trying to offend you or your book. I just didn't want to be bitten."
He sighed, flipping through his book. He just wanted it clear to her that he was not trying to offend before she left.

She paused, but she wasn't sure she was okay with this just yet. She was still wary of the boy across from her.
"I wouldn't let it bite anyone."

"Good. I don't think people like being bitten. I know I don't."
Maybe he was trying to be flirty again. Maybe not.

She was still seated, though her chair was pushed back a bit, her journal hugged tight to her chest. It was squirming a bit, probably trying to get back to him.
"It's not dangerous."

"Alright. That's good then."
He started playing with a dread absently. Resting his arm on the table, and using the arm to prop himself up.
"So you're a....transfiguration major, right?"

She paused and nodded.

She hadn't scooted back in yet but she was a little less tense. She nodded.
"Most items..."

"That's interesting."
He continued to play with his dread, not really noticing it. It was just something he did on occasion.
"I've never been into Transfiguration."

Again, she had no idea why he was talking to her. This didn't happen. This was the second time here at this table.
She shrugged a little. Jonas had pulled conversation out of her. This guy was cute but...

He was talking to her because she was a girl. Cute. And he didn't want to have to do anything else. As long as he was talking to her he was doing something.
"What jobs does Transfiguration lead to?"

She shrugged again, looking down a bit. She couldn't help it, though. This was her subject.
"Transfigurations is used in most jobs. To get a degree you usually have to be able to pass a certain level of transfiguration. Specific jobs are usually teaching or extreme specializing..."
It was all very academic. Those interested in transfiguration were usually like Rini. Very, very serious about their craft.

Mhm. He payed attention for a second or two. Then sort of let the English drift....Until she finally got to the teaching bit.
"Will you teach?"
It wasn't that she was boring. It was just that the English bored him.

"Um..."
She shook her head and glanced up.
"I don't know. I'm here to learn and... become an animagus."
