September 12th - Friday
There were a few places in the school that Rini Andou could be found. One was her classes, which she probably spent more time than was healthy, then was the commons where she ate every so often, the library, and her dorm. Other than that she was following her cousin around. She liked those places because people generally left her alone and she was able to do her school work in peace and quiet. She was just in the library, but it was quite crowded and she ended up stuck at a table with a pair who were very happy to talk and flirt with eachother. That was fine, she just didn't want to get dragged into a conversation. So, now she was slipping into her dorm, books in her arms, wondering if she was actually going to get to be alone here or not.
She opened the door and headed straight for her bed to drop them off. It was a normal size dorm for two, just like all the others. Two beds, and whatever they brought in themselves. The room was a few stories up on the female side of the building and they shared a bathroom down the hall with the other girls on the hall. All in all it was fairly nice, at least, Rini didn't really mind it. She set her books carefully on her bed, so she wouldn't disurb them.

"Rini!" Keahi didn't even bother knocking as he shuffled into his cousins room, positively bouncing. "Look~ Look what came!"
He held a magazine very close to her face. If she could focus on it, she would see a man standing there holding a trophy. The man was smiling, his broom in his other hand, wearing what were obviously quidditch robes. "The new issue came! And look who is on the cover!!!!"
So Keahi was excited. He adored Quidditch. He didn't play, but he adored it. And the men and women who played it. Mostly men. Like the man on the cover. He adored that man.

Well, her roommate wasn't here, so at least she was going to get to finish her homework in-
She jumped in surprise, dropping her books the last couple of inches to the bed. They were not amused but simply grumbled to themselves on the bed. Her pink notebook was still under a textbook so it was under control. Spinning around she found herself with a face full of quidditch and knew exactly who it was.
She blinked, taking the magazine and looking it over.
"Is that Professor Suzuki's brother?"

"Yes!" He grinned his toothy little grin. He was practically hopping in his little platform boots. Needless to say, the bright colored boy was a fan. To say the least. The very least.
"Isn't it pretty~" He sighed, shuffling around to her side to get a better look. Keahi started at it lovingly.

She quirked an eyebrow, glancing up at him.
"It? Or him?"
She knew her cousin, and she knew that this was both of his favourite topics mixed in one. Boys and quidditch. Not to mention this paritcular boy. Er.. man.

"Can't it just be both?" He grinned again. Then he snatched the magazine back. "Look~ There's even an interview. And another one with the keeper from the Applyby Arrows!"

She chuckled, moving over to sit on her bed and reorganize her angry books.
"Anything interesting?"

"A lot about upcoming games. And a few questions about recent games, other players and the like." he shrugged. Keahi plopped onto the ground, flipping through the magazine in his hands. "Look at this broom. New model and everything. Isn't it amazing?"
He held it out for her to see.

She glanced over at it. Really, quidditch wasn't her thing. Though the brooms and equipment interested her a bit more.
"You gonna buy it?"

"Are you kidding? That thing is worth more than I am." He laughed. It was such a pretty broom too. He sighed longingly.

She chuckled again and shook her head.
"You know, you should actually try flying sometime."

"Maybe next year." He waved it off. Flying and him really didn't get along. The whole heights thing was not his cup of tea.

"Mhm."
She set about cleaning up her things again. She decided to keep the pink notebook covered, just for safety's sake. It didn't need to be running off right now and she didn't feel like chasing it around. She grabbed one of her pillows, a cute flowery yellow one, holding it in her lap. Keahi was just about one of the only people she would actually just sit and talk to. He got her undivided attention.
"Anything else happen, lately? Any letters from your parents?"

He flipped a few more pages, shaking his head. Then he stopped. "Oh, right. Letter. I got one from mom."
He set the magazine down on his lap lightly, almost stroking the cover. "She says Kaimi's doing well in school. Still bitter as hell, but doing good."

She sighed a little and nodded.
"He'll be okay. ..probably."
She wasn't so sure. She only knew she certainly didn't talk to him as much as Keahi. He always seemed... angry at her.
